Age: "11" ((no real age was given, but according to Yabuki, she's supposed to be 11))

Background: Eve was a child born purely of science, the word "born" being used loosely. In a program headed by Dr Tearju Lunatique, Eve was cloned from the doctor and infused with nanotechnology in an attempt to create the perfect living weapon. As a result of the nanobots in her blood, Eve is able to transform parts of her body at will just by picturing it. Being raised by a ruthless arms dealer, she grew up knowing absolutely nothing of the outside world. The only thing she learned was that she was a demon and demons had to kill their prey.

One day, she was able to get out of the mansion for a short while. During that time, she encountered Sven Vollfied, a Sweeper ((bounty hunter)) and a gentleman. Sven treated her to ice cream, something she'd never tried before but enjoyed greatly, and made a promise to take her out to eat more good food. He also told her what freedom was, "being able to do whatever you want." Unfortunately, Eve was quickly recaptured.

Soon, Sven came to rescue her, while at the same time, she was targeted by Train Heartnet, aka the Black Cat, a ruthless Eraser ((assassin)) assigned to kill her. Sven tried to rescue her, but at that moment, the weapons dealer that had been keeping her put a device on her that sent her into a berserk fury. Sven made a desperate attempt to get the device off of her, but was stabbed by Eve in the process, though the wound was non-lethal. When Sven awoke, Eve decided that she wanted to stay with him, as a Sweeper. A few weeks later, Sven and Eve's Sweeper combination was joined by none other than Train Heartnet, no longer an Eraser.

The trio chased after many bounties, even going after the enormous bounty on the head of Creed Diskenth, a man who was trying to overthrow the world government and obtain eternal youth. When they manage to defeat Creed, Eve is taken captive as part of the Eden Project, a plan by a secret organization of people to bring world peace by enslaving the entire world. However, Eve doesn't end up syncing with the Eden machine and is eventually saved by Sven and Train. Now she travels with Sven as a Sweeper, while searching for the missing Train so she can express her gratitude to him for saving her.

Personality: The most notable thing about Eve is that she has a very cynical personality. Most of her knowledge about the world is obtained through books, which she is constantly reading and able to completely memorize the contents of after reading once. Eve's curious mind always loves to try new things, such as food she's never seen or even trying on new clothes. She is always on the hunt for more knowledge, but she is reluctant to do anything that would require her to leave Sven. In almost every situation, Eve will usually remain calm. She is rather unfazed by danger, but usually will not hide when she is under emotional duress.

Because of Sven's influence, she grew very attached to him, seeing him as a father figure at first, though possibly developing romantic feelings for him later. One of her main desires is to always be with Sven, being able to travel with him wherever he goes. To Train, she sees him as a rival Sweeper, and an unreliable big brother sort of person, but also as a good friend. While she does count on him a great amount, she is often upset that she actually does have to count on someone as dumb as Train.

As a Sweeper, Eve is often looked down on because of her appearance. However, Eve is extremely capable of capturing criminals or defending herself from them. She often competes with Train to see who can capture a criminal first, and is often trying to prove her own capabilities, even to the point of willingly playing the role of bait. She uses her body's transforming capabilities to turn parts of her body into weapons, such as turning her hands into blades or her hair into fists. Her powers can also be used defensively, turning her skin into steel. While her powers are only limited by her own imagination, it does take a strain on both her mind, and body, to completely transform her entire body. One of her most common transformations is sprouting a pair of angelic wings from her back and using them to fly for short periods of time.
